Unlike in the US, All Saints Day is a national holiday in Finland- the shops are closed, and there isn't much one could do outside of the home. It really is a day for remembering deceased family members. At night, people go to the cemeteries and graveyards to place candles at the tombstones of their lived ones. It was a rather beautiful sight.
All of the candles.
My apologies for the poor photography. It can't even begin to truly represent how strangely beautiful this event is.
